Sara trained to be a professional trumpet player under Paul Cosh (BBC Symphony Orchestra) and Crispian Steele-Perkins (international Baroque trumpet soloist) at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama in London. During her time at the Guildhall, and after graduating to pursue a career as a performer and teacher of the trumpet, Sara enjoyed playing in a variety of ensembles and orchestras, under a number of prestigious conductors, including John Lubbock, Lionel Friend, Stephen Barlow and Leonard Bernstein.
As well as her passion for music and the arts, Sara always had a keen interest in health and well-being, and six years after graduating from GSMD, she started a three year training course to become a teacher of the Alexander Technique. She eventually became Assistant Director of the Brighton Alexander Technique College.
Sara’s interest in health and well-being extends beyond people in that she has always been passionate about animal welfare and environmental issues.
